Systems Engineer

Who Should Apply?

Candidates should have 5+ years experience with large complex networking solutions. Network Engineers assist in managing Nortec client's computer networks and IT infrastructure - remotely or onsite. Ideal candidates have 2+ years experience as Microsoft NT Engineers (MCSE) and/or Novell Certified Netware Engineers (CNE's). Knowledge of Microsoft Exchange and IIS required. Also requires good background in IP routing, Internet-related protocols, and Cisco, 3Com, HP or Compaq technologies. Must be able to handle all PC Technician tasks. UNIX and Linux a plus.

Requirements

• 5 years experience with enterprise networking solutions

Preferred Criteria

• MCSE 2000 or MCSE 2003
• BA/BS
• MCSE Specialization in: Security (ISA), SMS, MOM, MOM, Clustering/NLB
• Cisco Certification – CISSP, 3COM
• Security-related certification or specialization (i.e. Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH))
• Experience with MSF delivery framework
• Project management certification (PMP)
• Extensive knowledge of IP routing and connectivity
