Falls Church, VA - Nortec
Communications, Inc., a computer network professional
consulting firm, has acquired VAI/Computerland in Pittsburgh
in a move that expands Nortec to three markets - Metro
DC Area, Richmond and now Pittsburgh. The acquisition
of VAI/Computerland will provide significant growth to
Nortec's current active client base of over 400 companies.
"This acquisition is an exciting move and will assist in nearly doubling our organization from $7 Million this year to a projected $12 Million in 2006" said Andrew Grose, President and CEO of Nortec. "Nortec has been growing steadily while remaining profitable over the last 10 years. This acquisition provides us with a great opportunity to add economies of scale; we're growing our bottom line with little increase in overall cost."
