Falls Church, VA --- July 22, 2009 – Nortec Communications, Inc. today announced that they have been recognized as the winner of Microsoft Top Partner Awards, including the Mid-Atlantic Partner of the Year 2009 and the Microsoft Compete Award for the East Region 2009.
 
This is the 7th consecutive year that Nortec has been honored with Microsoft Partner awards. The awards were presented at the 2009 Microsoft Worldwide Partner Conference held in New Orleans, July 13-16, 2009.   The awards program recognizes partners that have demonstrated significant customer impact, originality, effective time to market, deployment of advanced features, and the ability to optimize their use of Microsoft technologies to meet business needs.

Microsoft’s Mid-Atlantic Partner of the Year Award recognizes exceptional service and sales performance.  Candidates must be nominated and then agreed upon by general manager in Microsoft Mid-Atlantic district which comprises VA, MD, WV, DC, DE, and PA.

Microsoft’s East Region Compete Award recognizes key competitive wins achieved by a partner by demonstrating excellence in selling the value of the Microsoft technology solution set.  Microsoft's East Region encompasses the entire eastern seaboard from Maine to Florida.
