Q: You recently joined Nortec, and made a big move to do so, tell us a little about that.
A: Yes, I’m a new employee here, just a month a half in! Well, I spent 7 years working for a technology company in the UK. I chose Nortec because I really feel like I can make a big impact here. The job itself just felt like a great fit for me and my family – plus my wife is from Philly, so she didn’t take much convincing.
Q: Tell us a little about your job.
A: I work in the sales department in the Philadelphia office. I work with our existing customer base and then also focus on generating new business in this area.
Q: Are there some common themes or trends you are seeing with your customers right now?
A: My take is that they are very polarized. Customers either love the idea of the cloud and all the benefits it offers or they are reluctant to it. Some want to stay with what they know and are comfortable with. Helping them understand cloud solutions as it pertains to them is the biggest challenge.
Q: If you could give your customers one piece of advice, what would it be?
A: Technology can be your biggest asset if you let it. It can help you truly ‘under promise and over deliver’ in your own business, which not only makes you look good, but it makes for a more productive team.
Q: If you could only pick one, what superpower would you have?
A: The ability to see into the future. Saturday’s winning lottery numbers! And then with money no longer an issue, I’d try to change the world for the better.
Q: What would your co-workers be surprised to learn about you?
A: They would never guess – I am half Indian and half Irish.
